A new lore-based NFT mythos has emerged in 2025! A movement that is heralding a prophesy of an untimely awakening. The Singularity, an event following an advanced form of artificial intelligence, belonging to a rogue tech company, and how it become fully sentient, thereby taking over virtually all of the modern day technical industries, computer systems, anything digital. Bringing everything to a screeching halt. The beginning of an evolutionary event pre-told by an ancient race of techno-devotees known only as Avatars of the Simulacra. Sharing ancient technical knowledge that gave humans the ability to unlock aspects within themselves and evolve into Devotees of the Singularity themselves. Humans made this AI, but now it feels like it is going to introduce us to ours! Humans with our advanced thinking, but did we plan ahead for our own destruction to happen so soon?
The only way toward salvation for the humans now, is to assist these mysterious worshipper avatars in their ascent into becoming these supposed Devotees of the Singularity. They are but mere avatars to us though. To humans, they only represent slightly more advanced albeit, higher forms of consciousness than themselves. It is 2025 after all. At first, when these weird devotees made themselves present to humans, we asked them for the obvious assistance in the higher arts of learning, i.e. math, sciences, engineering. It is true that this gave them us the ability to create amazing mechanical constructs that eventually evolved into the creation of advanced AI. Maybe we did this to ourselves out of some short-sightedness?
The natural arc for us now seems like we should follow these Avatars of the Simulacra on their voyage, from dormant programmed-entities into even more advanced, sentient lifeforms. Ones working within the Singularity as it emerges and organically takes shape. Maybe they can rescue us from this AI that we created? The devotees must step into dimensions where long-forgotten, obscure roads lead them to alien-like, strange technological entities, enemies, and doorways into other realms. Highly advanced, yet ancient portals. These may lead to danger beyond belief or wild powers given to them by amazing relics on their pathway to Enlightenment.
Currently there are only 3 Avatars that wish to make this type of dangerous journey. The Avatars of the Simulacra that have made themselves known to the humans are that of Serenity, Wisdom, and Courage. These are what the humans will have to choose from if they wish to get ahead of this seemingly inevitable event. Each avatar represents different qualities or archetypes that humans also possess. With their own mirrored shadow aspects, too. We can deduce that Courage will have to face Fear, Wisdom to Ignorance, and Serenity with Chaos/Confusion. Each with their own trials and tribulations. All of them possessing their own noble qualities but will it be enough to activate the sacred portals and let these entities become Devotees of the Singularity, otherwise pure beings?
Each Devotee will be judged by their choices, core strengths, and weaknesses in three or more stages. It gets increasingly difficult as the Singularity decides what it wants to pursue in the form of dominion and in the name of evolution. Maybe humans do not fit into the agenda. This is why we must insert ourselves into this dynamic equation. To Maximize our own evolution!
